The Aftermath of Boulder Dam
Ombra, Callista and Dundas, accompanied by the young dwarf ranger Eyvind withdraw from their bloody skirmish at Boulder Dam.
Bruised and battered they stagger doggedly on to a camp several miles away, carrying the unconscious Callista.
As they roll exhausted into their blankets, Eyvind says to Dundas "Dont worry about a thing, I saw everything and help is on its way." Nursing his broken nose Dundas rests his back against a tree. As Ombra collapses into a restless sleep he sees other shadowy dwarf figures moving stealthily on the edge of the campsite.
Ombra wakes early the next morning. His head is pounding and he feels like he has not slept. Yet he no longer feels demoralized, instead he feels a strange inspiration. With sudden purpose, he sets about doing his best to care for his injured comrades
A company of a dozen or so dwarfs are in camp. Most are sleeping still but four are on watch. Ombra notes that they are armed with crossbow and axe for the most part.
He looks at the unconscious Callista and smiles ruefully at the memory of the young mage calling forth shooting stars and magic darts to crash down on their enemies. She is in a serious state, the wound she received from the charging orc has resulted in a very serious head wound. With a determined air Ombra sets about changing her bandages.
Dundas is woken by Ombra an hour or so later and together they set about doing what they can for Dundas' injuries. By the time the sun has been up for an hour the camp is astir with dwarf activity. One dwarf ranger has taken charge of the large boar and is baking large chunks of it underground in a makeshift smokeless camp oven. Another older dwarf with white whiskers and gnarled fingers by the name of Thorgrm has cut away the boar tusks and spends the majority of the day whittling them with a carving knife.
By mid morning our party see some familiar faces. Dusty and travel worn that party of dwarf silver miners enter camp. Dundas can tell they have marched all night. With typical dwarf stoicism and complete disregard for the cares of the road they confer with Eyvind briefly while taking a meal on their feet. Then, before half an hour passes they are gone again, accompanied by several Dwarf rangers including Eyvind.
Focused on recovery Dundas and Ombra set about the business of healing themselves and Callista. They are joined soon after mid day by a austere looking dwarf dressed in fine purple cloth underneath his travel cloak
He introduces himself as Malric and he says he is a Rune priest. Dedicated to the Dwarf goddess Valaya. He specializes in healing and magical enchantment. He offers his assistance in caring for the injured Callista. Gratefully the adventurers accept.
By evening Callista has recovered consciousness. She is severely concussed and her vision is swimming but she is alive. She is able to take some broth and a little boar meat with the others.
Dwarfs have been coming and going all day. Finally just as the sun is about to set. Eyvind returns with the miners. Dundas notes that a few are missing. He sits with the Grey Wolf companions and tells them of the events of the day.
"Well my friends" he says. "A fine business you have started here." His wrinkled complexion wrinkles even further with amusement. He turns to Dundas. "So now young beardling, when I spied you on the road and when you tried to win me with that ridiculous smile of yours, I admit, I didn't think much of you. Dressed up like a dwarf clan warrior but with your Reiklander ways.... However, that business at the dam... the way you charged in and bowled over that orc! The way the two of you took down that boar!" Eyvind takes a moment to gnaw on the pork bone in his hands as if reaching a deeper appreciation for how it came to be there.
It seems that the dam has been collapsed by the miners and that much of the greenskin horde has been flooded and washed away. On top of this the miners managed to jimmy loose several of the boulders on the cliff and roll them done amidst the greenskins. Much damage and chaos has been caused. Eyvind warns that the threat is still there. The overall result is that of a bee sting, nothing more. Still thanks to our three adventurers and their unlikely dwarf associates, some time has been bought. The old ranger Thorgrm estimates several days or maybe a week before the orc warbosses restore order.
With gruff gestures Thorgrm passes a small item to Callista and to Dundas. To Callista he gifts a finely crafted ivory staff hilt. There is a dwarf rune on it. Thorgrim explains that it means "Dwarf-Friend" To Dundas he gifts an ivory charm fashioned in the shape of a hand with a coin in it's palm. He claps the younger dwarf on the shoulder and without any further word leaves to his bedroll.
As the old dwarf withdraws, Eyvind glances at the adventurers and says. "In the morning you should head west. The greenskins have been delayed but they will be on the march soon enough. Whatever your business is to the west you should attend to it." His countenance deepens, as if to say he know's full well what our party has in store for them. He then withdraws to his own blankets.
Malric is the last to leave the fire. He talks at some length with Callista about magical matters but can see that she is struggling with her injuries and eventually he too withdraws. Before he does so he points to Ombra and says. "That salve you have, use it tomorrow to help reduce the severity of your companions injuries." He then turns finally to Callista and says. "Take heart young maid, you are a dwarf friend now. But I think you were a true friend of one dwarf before. I know of him. I have seen him in my runecrafting. Danger threatens him, he is mixed up in things beyond his control." He sighs with frustration. "That's all I know"

OMBRA'S NIGHTMARES
The first night
Ombra walks through a shadowy world of unreality. He sees himself being dragged to safety by the armoured figure of Karl Jacobs at Redbark. He then sees himself stabbing Jacobs in the throat....He sees a beautiful woman, white blond hair blowing, She smiles then she snarls, she says his name.
"I have a gift for you Ombra. I can set aside your doubts....Before he can think things through Ombra nods in acceptance."
Ombra's spend's the next day in a surreal state... In terms of game mechanics he has acquired the 'inspired' condition, the opposite of his previous 'demoralised' conditon. The demoralised condition is not gone but it has no affect while Ombra is inspired.
The Inspired condition grants a fortune dice to every test Ombra makes. Along with this Ombra wakes with two (2) stress each morning due to his nightmares and restless sleep.
The second night
Ombra walks through the same shadowy world. Except this time there is no Jacobs. Instead Callista and Dundas are with him.
"She" is there again. "Well now Ombra, how do you like my gift?"
Ombra hesitates and turns to his companions.
What advice do shadowy dream Callista and Dundas have to give?

The Best of Friends
The Best of Friends
Callista L'Arcenciel grew up in the wealthy trading hub of Marienburg. As the daughter of a well-established merchant (Balthasar) in a fourishing sea port, she spent much time amusing herself as a child and exploring every corner of the thriving city. Constantly testing her boundaries, she would often find herself in mischief one way or another. It was in one of the worst of these mishaps that she made a friend for life, Brahlmar.
Callista loved the ships and the sea the most. She loved the way the water met the sky on the horizon. She loved the stories that the travelers would tell about their experiences in far away places. One warm summer evening while star-gazing, she fell in the company of a band of traders who lured her on their ship with the intent of kidnap. Brahlmar was on the docks in search of a good price for a barrel of mead for an upcoming celebration when he saw them taking her aboard.Thinking quickly and moving unseen, he created a diversion by igniting a barrel of gunpowder on the landing. Callista had just enough time to get away, but Brahlmar was not so lucky.
Brought up on charges by the Seaman's guild and being held at the watch post, Brahlmar's future was uncertain. Drawing on all her courage, she confessed the events of the entire evening to her father. Whilst reluctant to interfere in the law for the likes of a dwarf stranger, he could not ignore the fact that this man had saved his daughter's life. Luckily, by telling the truth and swearing on his respectable name, the authorities believed the story and agreed to release Brahlmar if the damages were paid. Callista spent quite some time earning the money to pay her father back for the troubles her mischief had caused.
From then on, Brahlmar and Callista's paths continued to cross. The saw each other many times in the city, day to day. Callista in her explorations of nature, sky and light and Brahlmar on his business with his various business contracts and merriment. From the beginning, he knew she was different and she knew he was a warrior. Brahlmar would bring maps and trinkets to Callista along with tales of grand battles and great battle wizards of old. She gained great respect for his people and he peaked her interest in the sight.

Brahlmar’s Conversation with Callista
We don’t have much time. Jacobs is in an angry state of mind and I will be missed if I take too long.
I am sorry I didn't talk to you about this earlier little one. I think the Dwarf Dundas can be trusted so I confided in him. I wanted to try and keep you out of this. I still think of you as a child. I was wrong, I can see you have grown up and can look after yourself.
By now you must know that I believe that the good man that is Karl Jacobs has been corrupted by evil somehow, and that Bugman’s Brewery lies virtually defenseless.
Their standing contract with the Iron Hilt legion is in tatters and Bugman himself and most of his strength are away in Bretonnia. Your little mishap with the Black Spears has angered him and I now see it as final proof that he does NOT intend to lend aid in the defence of the brewery. Indeed he means to see it razed to the ground.
I think he is sending you east into a trap. I think there is a large greenskin horde marching west and I think it is marching on Bugman’s. Callista, he is underestimating you. He thinks you will blunder into the horde and be out of the way for good. Your misadventure with the Black Spears has convinced him. But I know you are not as gullible as he thinks, and our situation is desparate. If Bugman’s should fall it would be a serious blow to the free peoples of the old world. Not just dwarfs.
So go east, be sly and sneaky and crafty. Find out the size of the greenskins and meet me back here as soon as you can. I am going to talk to Tennety and Belkov. If I can't meet you here with the others I will try and meet you at Bugman’s. If I can't meet you there do what you can for its defence. If it looks like it might be overrun do your best to save lives and secure any of Bugman’s heirlooms or ale recipes.
Be careful child. Dont throw your life away. If the brewery should fall. Do your best to find Bugman himself and bring him word.
Go now.
War of the Beard / War of Vengeance
The War of Vengeance (referred to by the Dwarfs as the Great Betrayal, and by less serious Elves as The War of the Beard' ) was a great conflict fought from around -1997 IC to -1560 (though some battles occurred later, notably the Seige of Sith Rionnasc'namishashir in -1502) on the Imperial Calendar between the proud High Elves and the unforgiving Dwarfs. While the war itself was orchestrated by the Witch-King Malekith, each side place the blame heavily on each other. The whole affair was a great travesty and served only to weaken each race - neither the Dwarfs nor the High Elves have ever recovered. After the war, the Asur who stayed in the Old World became the Asrai or Wood Elves.
A long before the time of The Empire, Sigmar or Gilles Le Breton, during their Age of Discovery, the High Elves had allied themselves with many races; perhaps the most powerful of these were the Dwarfs. Already a great civilisation when they first made contact with the Asur, the combination of cultures increased the stature of both races. Dwarfs were well versed in the secrets of ancient runes and made the finest weapons in the world, of which many were gifted to the Princes and Dragonlords of the Asur. The Elves taught the Dwarfs how to enchant items on their own and of arts, such as literature and poetry. Trade between the races flourished, Elven silk and steel was much valued by the Dawi, and Dwarf armour, weaponry and alcohol became a common sight in Ulthuan. The fortress of Sith Rionnasc'namishathir was established at the mouth of what is now the River Reik (present day Marienburg in the Wasteland). Other colonies, such as the mighty city of Tor Alessi (present day L'Anguille in Bretonnia) were also founded.
In the Age of Strife and the tragic civil war called the Sundering, the Phoenix King Caledor the Conqueror steered the High Elves through their time of turbulence, after the murder of the previous King Bel Shannar by Malekith, the son of the first King Aenarion. However as long as Malekith and his followers still lived there would be no peace. After his defeat at the Marches of Maledor and the exile of the Dark Elves to the cold land of Naggaroth, the Witch King hatched a plan, creating a spark that would become an inferno.
In the Imperial Year -2005 IC, several Druchii raiding parties were dispatched in secret to the Old World with the intention of causing as much strife and unrest between the two races as possible. The Dark Elves achieved this by posing as Asur who were ambushing trading caravans, cheating Dawi merchants out of goods and razing several smaller settlements to the ground (the most notable of these being Zakbar Varf ). This led to the tighter strictures on Dwarven trade routes, harsher sanctions on Elves trespassing into Dwarvish territory and ultimately the reckoning of many grudges against the Asur responsible.
The High King Gotrek Starbreaker stalwartly tried to avert conflict; and unaware of the civil war that had just taken place within Ulthuan, due to the Elvish refusal to speak of it, sent messengers to the Elves demanding to know the reason for the attacks and why the Phoenix King did little to resolve the crisis. The foolish reply was immediate and uncompromising, if Gotrek wanted recompense he should come to Lothern, the High Elf capital; and beg for it. The Dwarf nations were outraged, but Starbreaker attempted again to cool the temper of his Kings, and in -1997 IC sent his best ambassadors and Reckoners, led by Forek Grimbok, to Ulthuan to raise the issue with Caledor II. When the envoy arrived many Elves realised how serious the claim was, the Phoenix King's advisors among them.
The current Phoenix King, Caledor II (son of Caledor the Conqueror) recklessly denied the charges against him and the Asur, and refused to even investigate the origin of the attacks. When Grimbok demanded once again that if the Elven court could not discover who of their number was responsible for instigating the unrest then the Court themselves would be held accountable, Caledor became uncontrollably angry at Grimbok. Fearing for his reputation, Caledor ordered that Grimbok be shaved and expelled from Ulthuan, gravely insulting the him, the High King and the whole Dwarf race by extension. He returned home across foreign lands, humiliated but with purpose. Starbreaker, upon learning the terrible truth, immediately ordered the forges and armouries to begin preparing for war. Grimbok himself later became a Slayer due to the shame the incident placed upon him.
After mustering for almost a year, Dawi throngs marched to war on the Elves, drawing troops from the far ends of the Dwarven realm; Karaz Ankor . Ironbreakers of Karaz-a-Karak marched with Longbeards of Karak Azgal, Slayers from Karak Kadrin marched with Hammerers of Ekrund. Upon reaching Tor Alessi, Gotrek made an oath that he would extract recompense either in gold or blood from the High Elves or he would shave his beard. With a desire to avenge their injured pride, the Dwarfs were not about to let their King break his promise. Upon hearing of the assault on Tor Alessi, Caledor was outraged and ordered his generals to send an enormous fleet to relieve the city. The force that left Ulthuan was truly huge, dwarfing any navy before or since, and though the Council of Princes was worried that this would leave their lands undefended, Caledor was determined.
Elves and Dwarves fought bitterly until in -1974 IC Caledor slew the Dwarf Prince Snorri Halfhand after Snorri challenged him to single combat. Being tired of slaughter, and wishing reduce their losses, the Elves then retreated. Seeking revenge for his cousin’s death Morgrim Baugrim led the forces that pursued the Elves. For many years the Asur retreated until they decided to stand and fight at Oeragor (-1968 IC). When the lines met, rivers of blood flowed and hundreds on each side lost their lives until Lord Imladrik, the prince commanding the High Elf main army, was slain in single combat by Morgrim and the elves retreated once again, this time leaderless.
Morgrim was crowned a hero and he continued to capture through the Elven towns and cities across the Old World, notably razing the city Athe Maraya in -1948 IC. The heroes Lord Salendor of Tor Achare and Brok Stonefist of Karak Azgul, who had previously fought many great battles, eventually lost both their lives in the doomed city, crushed by the burning crumbling towers. The Dwarfs were quite unlike any foe the Elves had ever faced, refusing to give up even when doom or defeat was assured for them. The war became a stalemate, the mountain fortresses of the Dwarfs were unassailable and the Dawi laid siege to Tor Alessi thirteen times, but could not seem to penetrate the city's walls. Much of the Athel Loren was destroyed as the war continued for another 450 years.
In the year -1560 IC at the fourteenth siege of Tor Alessi (later called "The Battle of the Three Towers"), for over a hundred days Dawi engines of war (at that time, the Dwarfs had not discovered black powder) attacked the cities mighty walls and, when it proved fruitless, they instead focused upon destroying the finely constructed towers. Eventually, the dwarfs gained entrance to the fortress and Gotrek finally comfronted Caledor at the heart of the city, where the pair dueled for three days on end, not stopping or disengaging for a second. Finally, when Caledor began to tire, Starbreaker disarmed him, broke his sword with the Rune-axe of Grimnir, and cast the Phoenix King to his knees. Pleading for his life, Caledor swore to surrender and sued for peace; however, Starbreaker not only saw that the King did not intend to keep his oath if his life was spared, but he also knew mercy was not his to give, only justice, executing him on the spot. As a final recompense, demanded so many years ago, Starbreaker took the Phoenix Crown from Caledor's head and declared the war to be ended. The remaining Asur briefly considered the impossible task of besieging Karaz-a-Karak in order to reclaim the Crown but by this time Malekith's plan had come to fruition and the Druchii had launched a titanic invasion of Ulthuan, their legions of warriors raising the ancient sunken city of Anlec from the depths of the Great Ocean. It was ordered that all the Asur, soldier, civilian and otherwise retreat from the Old World to defend Ulthuan.
Another crown was made to replace the first Phoenix Crown, which remained in the great treasure hoard of Karaz-a-Karak. The fortress of Sith Rionnasc'namishashir, ("Star Gem of the Sea in Eltharin) was razed in -1502, marking the last result of the Betrayal between Elves and Dwarfs. Although some (mainly Elves) gainsay them, the Dwarfs claim to this day that they won the War of Vengeance. However the war cost both sides hundreds of thousands of lives along with cities, fortresses, mountains of treasure, and a powerful ally in each other. Niether side ever reached such heights of greatness ever again.

Bralmar's warning to Dundas
With your decision to trust Ombra. Here is a transcript of a chilling conversation between the two Dwarfs, Dundas and Bralmar.
Dundas being an intelligent and educated dwarf was able to recall the conversation almost word for word. It went something like this.....
You think moving south is a good idea?
You think the captain knows what he's doing?
That's because you don't know about The Silver Lady.
Number of seasons back, before you and these other newbloods joined up with us,
Jacobs had us attached to a warhost of one of the Border Princes.
One night before settling in, Jacobs tells us we have a special mission in the morning.
We were to secure and guard a supply dump and wait for a delivery from our contacts in the empire to the north
Easy work says I to our brothers. Fighting's one thing but when you are given a soft support mission you take it
Only in the morning I notice we travel more westerly than Northwards.
After two days of slog through rough country we spy a redoubt up ahead on the lee of the hills.
Only one of the lads sees a sentry mark us. Seems we are in for a scrap after all
Thats it says Jacobs. There'll be a bit extra for us lads says he
But that's Jacobs' gift, isn't it? Always knows just what to say to push us harder, further, make us all pull together for the cause.
The lads have their blood up anyway and most are spoiling for a scrap
So we storm them on hillside, even though its held against us, even though they are dug in and know we are coming
We lost many good men taking it and for a haul nowhere near what Jacobs had promised.
The defenders were well armed and had the look of hard men. And they fought to the last man
All but two, brothers I thought, or cousins, softer than the fighting men rich merchants sons thinks I or Noble by blows
When all seems lost and with the last of their protectors dead they try to surrender
Well all of the lads paused, you never know what a ransom might be worth
Jacobs however does not hesitate, quicker than you can think he's done for both of them
Most of the lads took it in their stride the captain is the captain after all
But there was no shipment of supplies, no wagons or rations or extra weapons or ammunition.
and no real loot to speak of, a little yes, enough to keep most of the lads content.... just enough
After I'd caught my breath I took it to the Lieutenant.
He was unmoved, to say the least.
"Just two rich bastards less in the world," he said.
At the time, I'll admit, I took his point.
But days later we connected up with the warhost.... or what was left of it.
Seems that Prince Gambon's army had met and fought the greenskin Waaagh in seven days of battle.
They had prevailed but only just.
Gambon had seen enough of war and was headed home.
He paid us off well enough, minus a moderate penalty for not recovering the supply train
Once again it was just enough to keep the lads content... just
Two weeks later we arrive back in Nuln, tired, dirty and very thirsty!
First night back in Nuln the lads are celebrating at the Bear 'n' Plow
I am unlucky enough to draw dry duty. So I'm in the street, keeping a clear eye open
I see Jacobs leave the place.. the lads are deep in their cups by this time.
Something nags at me from the inside... so I follow him
Several districts down and round a corner or two I see Jacobs enter the front parlor of a swanky merchant house
I see a lady waiting for him. Tall and silver hair under a hood. Rich dark cloth.
But when Jacobs reaches her, two words escape his lips.
"They're dead.”
Storming that redoubt was never about securing our supply line.
It was an execution.
All those men we lost, they died so Jacobs could settle some personal vendetta for her. You watch.
Good men will die for some hidden agenda.
The Silver woman's agenda.
Mark my words.
It's all happening again.
Once again it was just enough to keep the lads content... just

Grungi and Valaya
Grungi
Grungni is one of the ancestor gods, said to be carved by time from the rocks of the first mountains. In Dwarven legend, he led the Dwarfs away from the increasing perils of the upper world and into the safety of the earth. He is generally portrayed as a male Dwarf clad all in chainmail, with a forked iron-gray beard reaching almost to his feet.
Dwarfs consider Grungni to be the most important of all gods, for it was he who first discovered the knowledge of mining and smelting ores, which he then passed on to the earliest Dwarfs. He is credited with inventing iron and steel, so enabling the Dwarfs to destroy their foes with superior weaponry. Grungni is worshiped most by the miners, smiths and engineers who work the rock and metal of the mountains and his greatest shrine is in the hold of Karak Azul, which is famous for its excellent armories and weaponsmiths.
Valaya
Valaya is unique in being the only female Dwarf god. She is the protectoress of the homeland and the clan, blessing her devotees with special powers of protection against magic and the influence of the Realm of Chaos. The capital city of the Dwarfs, Karaz-a-Karak, is said to have originally been founded by Valaya
Also watch the blog for some info that Dundas knows about Grungi and Valaya the two Dwarf gods.
and
a small story link to bring you to Sunday's adventure
also here is a quick reminder of some of your story questions unanswered.
Who killed Ombra's parents? What is the meaning of the mysterious coin?
What is happening with Captain Jacobs?
Why did Brahlmar talk to Dundas about his fears and not his close friend Callista?
What is going on with all these weird mushrooms?
Why did the Iron Hilt legion break their contract with Bugman's Brewery? Why would the Dwarf Olaf so upset about it?
There is something in the air.... something is 'brewing'.... all clues point to a little alehouse tucked away in Black Fire Pass!

Josef Bugman and Bugman's Brewery

Bugman's Brewery is a Dwarf tavern in
Black Fire Pass. It is the most venerated drinking establishment of
the Dwarf brewmasters, with Dwarfs willing to die for its precious
casks of Bugmans XXXXXX and Troll Brew.
The brewing community of Bugman's
Brewery was originally founded by the great Zamnil (or Samuel)
Bugman, the father of the current owner, Josef Bugman. The brewery
prospered greatly from the export of its ales to the Dwarfs holds and
to the Empire, and has become famous for making the finest ales in
the Old World. Some of the best brews may even have regenerative
abilities.
You have just learned....
The Iron Hilt Legion has broken its contract with Bugman's Brewery.
-From a dwarf Iron Hilt mercenary called Olaf drinking unhappily at the Bear and Plow. (Why is Olaf so upset)

Greenskins
Orcs, goblins and snotlings
Greenskins are a persistent scourge upon the lands. They are ferocious raiders that spread war to every corner of the world. The greenskins are so eager for battle that, when lacking a foe, they will gladly attack each other.
All Orcs and Goblins are natural raiders, launching attacks from out of their lairs or crude campsites. On the occasions when many of the fractious and unruly tribes are united by a powerful Warboss into a single cohesive force, their subsequent invasion is called a Waaagh! — a word that can only be properly pronounced at deafening volume. This is nothing short of a catastrophic crusade, bent on sweeping over the lands in a crashing tide of unrelenting war. A Waaagh! is a mind-numbing sight — an unstoppable sea of green-skinned warriors swarming across the horizon, whooping, jeering, and chanting war-cries that have heralded devastation and ruin since the world was young.
You have just learned....
Greenskins.... They're all He/Shes Hahaha!!
-From an old toothless drunk at the Bear and Plow
-Dundas knows....
Greenskins are all asexual, There are no male or female greenskins
Most greenskins have a hyper attraction to fungus. Particularly goblins and snotlings.
-Callista picked up some very bright and colourful mushrooms. When fighting a small raiding party of greenskins they seems to target her in combat.

The City of Nuln
Nuln is one of the greatest cities in the Empire. It is famous for the Imperial Gunnery School which produce the best cannons in the whole Empire. The city of Nuln is also the last location where the River Reik can be bridged in a single span. Nuln is s Citystate in the southern-eastern part of the Reikland.
The state soldiers of Nuln fights in black uniforms. This suits the fact that many of the soldiers of Nuln are usually smeared in black powder.
Magnus the Pious was born in Nuln, and after his victory against Asavar Kul and his army in the Great War Against Chaos, he made it the capital of his reforged Empire. This didn't last long however, as the Emperor that followed him moved the capital to the Reikland city of Altdorf, the current capital and seat of Karl Franz, the Emperor.

Setting the scene - An Introduction.
You are all members of the free mercenary company "The Grey Wolves". Your captain is a grizzled veteran by the name of Jacobs. The company's leadership consists of Jacobs and under him lieutenant Belkov. Jacobs never goes anywhere without his two henchmen Crowe and Jorge.
The Grey Wolves select their captain by general election. All full members are entitled to vote. Apart from Dylan's character, you are all new members of the Grey Company and have not campaigned with them yet. Last season the Grey Wolf company suffered a major defeat fighting greenskins at a small village called Redbark. Dylan's character was at Redbark and was gravely wounded. You are told by veteran members of the company that Jacobs displayed an act of bravery at the battle that saved many lives, and that this was instrumental in Jacobs being elected as captain.
The Grey Wolves operate out of the Empire city of Nuln. You were all recently recruited there. Callista (Brenda's character) recently arrived there out of Altdorf where she just graduated as an acolyte of the magical college of the Celestial Order. Oscar's character recently arrived from Athel Loren. The Wood Elf homeland, his motives and personal story are still a mystery to you all.
To do list.
